Postal History Foundation
Canceled stamps are donated and painstakingly removed by volunteers. But what impressed me the most was The Foundation's youth program. Teachers can get packets of stamps free to supplement thematic lessons. As the guide was explaining the youth program, I was thinking of all the ways I could have used stamps in many of my library media lessons especially doing research. Oh well....once an educator......

Foundation is a hub of postal research and education in the southwest. While it maintains the largest and one of the finest facilities dedicated to postal history in the western United States, the Foundation is also the only philatelic museum that operates an extensive youth education program. In a recent school year, we worked with over 10,000 students nationwide.
